Here's the problem (besides the fact that I don't have a river in my yard), last year I couldn't even keep 3 outdoor flower pots alive. I go out every year and spend a bunch of money on flowers, I follow the care instructions, do what the nursery people tell me to do, do what my neighbors do (theirs always seem to grow beautifully) and they still die. Sooooo annoying. I'll be giving it another shot this year though because I want flowers darn it!
